Go-To Concealers!

So far I have about 3 concealers I use semi-regularly and at least 2 of them are from our best friend- the drug store! Keep in mind, my skin is normal-slightly oily. My most oily patches are my nose and forehead. I also have really dark, baggy under-eye circles.

First up: The L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Concealer

This concealer line by L’oreal currently has 8 shades and sells for $10 (Prices vary by location) and contains 0.21 FL OZ of product. It does have a weird fragrance but doesn’t linger. You can find this at most any drug store, Ulta, or Sephora.

I find it to be a light-weight and comfortable formula with light-medium coverage. I know what you’re thinking- “If you have oily skin, wouldn’t you want to avoid ‘glowy’ makeup because you might look extra greasy?” Well, again my skin isn’t very oily but my nose and forehead can sometimes be more oily than the rest of my face and this product actually didn’t affect me negatively.I like to pick a concealer shade that is about my skin tone shade since I don’t like to exaggerate my under eyes and the powder I set/bake with lightens it up just a enough for a nice, natural high-light under my eyes while keeping a nice, medium coverage. It may not be the best price point but it is a long wear concealer. As for creasing, no matter what concealer or primer I wear, I will always have some kind of creasing it may just be that I need to find a way to minimize under eye bags and this concealer is no exception to creasing but it doesn’t crease heavily and I enjoy wearing this all day. I use shade 02 and set with Coty Airspun powder in Suntan.

Next up: Colourpop No Filter Concealer

Contains almost 0.18 FL OZ and costs roughly $6.50

Currently, they’re boasting 30 shades in the range

Colourpop recently launched their No Filter line of foundation and concealer. I have not tried the foundation for myself since I rarely use foundation to begin with, but right now I absolutely love their concealer and use it on a daily basis. It has cute, sleek packaging, a great price point, and medium-full coverage (at least for me) with a matte finish that doesn’t look too dry and almost looks like skin! I’m obsessed with Colourpop and love their all their launches, at first I was skeptical about this but I’m glad I tried it! I use shade Medium 22 and a little goes a long way but I have a little bit of a heavy hand so right now I feel like I’m going through my first tube a little quick vs how long it takes me to go through my pro-glow concealer despite a small difference in available product. You can find this at Ulta or Sephora or just go straight to their website: https://colourpop.com/products/no-filter-concealer

Finally: The It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer

Contains 0.40 FL OZ for $26 and the range includes 24 shades

Upon first impressions, I absolutely loved this concealer. It didn’t oxidize too many shades too dark, I liked the way it settle under my eyes, it’s full coverage, and a little went a long way (its also a very thick and tacky product which is great to set your powder on). Now that I’ve used it for a more extended period of time, I only like to use it for special occasions. When I look at my under eyes after applying, before setting, it looked and felt different but still performed well. There is some kind of texture under my eyes before applying but the concealer smoothes it out, there was just something off going on that I don’t know how to explain so I don’t reah for this product often unless I really want my makeup to look flawless. You can also find this at Ulta or Sephora.

I hope you guys enjoyed this and found it helpful!
